Airbrushing & masking; Decal application using Future and setting solutions; Use of putties & CA glues; Use of various grades of wet/dry sandpapers & Extensive knowledge of  English Supermarine Spitfire/Seafire  aircraft



Member of the American Fighters Aces Association Friends Organization since 1999 and was designated an “Honorary Fighter Ace” in 2012;  Authored articles for IPMS Journal on six trips (2000 to 2006)  to IPMS/UK National Convention at Telford, England; Co-developed and taught the original ABC Building Course using the 1/48 Scale Tamiya A6M2  Zero for 10 years; IPMS/USA Senior National Judge with 19  years  experience  judging aircraft at IPMS/USA National Convention; Have won 1st Place (2003) , 2nd Place  (2011) & 3rd Place  (2003 & 2004) at IPMS/USA National Convention; Member of IPMS Alamo Squadron since 1988 and have served on  E-Board as President X 2 terms, Vice-President X 1 term & Treasurer X  6 terms & Originally joined IPMS/USA in 1967 while assigned to Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
