This is the home on the web of Alamo Squadron, the San Antonio chapter to the International Plastic Modelers' Society. Discover the many models, activities and events the club is happy to build, support, organize and promote.
Established in 1977, the Alamo Squadron is a social organization in which all modelers and modeling interests are accepted and invited to join in the fun and enjoyment of making models, as well as the camaraderie of helping others enjoy this wonderful hobby. We are proud to have served the Central Texas community for over 45 years, as well as supporting other hoby clubs in Texas, Mexico, and the Southern United States by cultivating and promoting a general interest in the scale modeling hobby.
Please feel free to browse through our resources and visit us at one of our monthly meetings as well.

Important notice from el Presidente: Alamo Squadron's March 7, 2024 Meeting will be held at Jordan Ford's Pat Booker Facility (Address in NEXT MEETING tab). The meeting will start at 7:00 PM but the building will be open at 6:00 PM for early arrivers. There are tables for Contest and WIP, but only a few chairs. I am asking everyone to bring their own chair. You may leave your chair for future meetings if you wish. Jonathon Griffith will have the keys to the building and parking gate, so there is no pressure to conclude the meeting. It is my hope that this facility will become our regular meeting place.

ModelFiesta is AlamoSquadron's flagship event, the longest running annual modeling event in IPMS Region 6, and is one of the most unique, varied, and best regarded IPMS events in the region.
Our meetings are diverse, and cover a range of different activities. Starting with our monthy meeting with learning programs and Work in Progress reports, a biannual, multi-week instructional class, and informal get-togethers of club members to work on scale models in a group environment promoting the sharing of skills and techniques.
Everything you need to know about the Alamo Squadron. Who we are. Our rich history dating back to the late 1960s with the official chartering of the club in its present form in 1977. Our Leadership. The Constituion and Bylaws by which we operate. And of course, some of the best models as voted by our members, as well as some of their own personal favorites.
